Swim England Volunteer Satisfaction Survey 2017 launched

Swim England has launched its 2017 Volunteer Satisfaction Survey to get feedback about experiences of volunteering in swimming and aquatics.

We recognise the vital role that volunteers play in the success of swimming in this country. Those people who give up their time at local, regional and national levels are integral to the work that we do.

To make sure that our volunteers are able to do the best job that they can, we need their feedback. Each year the Volunteer Satisfaction Survey identifies all of the things we are doing right and highlights any areas that our volunteers feel they could use a little extra help. If you help out within swimming and aquatics, please complete our survey. The survey will remain open until midnight on Wednesday 15 November 2017 and should take around 10-15 minutes to complete.

2017 London Winters - Accepted/Rejected Entries Published

With much regret, due to the popularity of the Meet and a strict timescale imposed by the facility, the London Swimming Events Team took the decision to reject some entries from the first session of the meet to ensure that the estimated Meet Schedule could still be achieved. We sincerely apologise for the understandable disappointment that this decision will bring to some of our talented swimmers.

Where there has been adjustment due to entry inconsistency or due to rejection of entries, the final Fees due per Club will be calculated in accordance with the Entry Analysis Report and London Swimming will look to issue refunds as soon as practicable.

A Meet Schedule - intended for guidance purposes only - has also been published.

A Full Meet Programme - the same document which will be printed and available to paying spectators upon entry to the facility - while stocks last - has also been published.
