A unique partnership between Southwark Local Authority, Fusion, Seven Island Swimming Club and London Swimming has created an exceptional opportunity for a high level swimming and coaching professional.
The Director of Swimming position is an opportunity for an individual to develop a swimming programme from schools swimming, learn to swim programmes through to the development of high level competitive swimmers. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and visionary individual to fundamentally improve swimming pathways for swimming in Southwark.
The Director of Swimming will oversee programming, coach and teacher management and financial control for a substantial programme covering all Local Authority facilities in the Borough of Southwark. The successful candidate will need to have the ability to work at a strategic level but also be an excellent swim coach.
Due to the nature of the role and the need for a high-level business approach we are looking for an exceptional individual and this post is therefore remunerated to reflect the level of candidate required.
