Para Swimming is a Paralympic Sport and is an extremely popular activity amongst disabled people.

London Swimming hold an Annual Disability Swimming Championships which usualy takes place around October

If you are interested in becoming involved in disabled swimming either as a competitor or coach please contact Michelle Weltman mob: 07710 419218. Swimmers are asked to complete a Tracker Form as long as they can swim at least 15 metres so they can be put in touch with the right people to help them achieve your goals.

The London Disability Swim Club is a competitive swimming club for people with a classifiable disability from all across London, they meet once a month at The London Aquatic Centre, where swimmers receive an hour and a half training from their specialist coaches.

The club also attends the London Regional Swimming Championships once a year and they travel to support the London Swimming Region at Nationals.

Together We Will
In 2016 the National Disability Sports Organisations (NDSOs) and English Federation of Disability Sport (EFDS), came together, supported by Sport England to encourage disabled people to be more active.
